Connect your DualSense and press any button. You will see every button, how far each trigger is pressed, and exactly where both sticks rest. Run the drift test below for a plain answer and a dead zone that hides any drift.
Connect your controller, then press any button.

- L2 and R2 pressure from 0 to 100%
- Stick drift at rest and how round each stick's edge is
- Rumble, in browsers that support it

Questions
Can I test a PS5 controller without a PS5?
Yes. Connect the DualSense to a computer or phone with a USB-C cable or Bluetooth and open this page. Everything runs in the browser.
Why doesn't my DualSense show up?
Press a button on it first; browsers only reveal a controller after a button press. If it still doesn't appear, try a different USB-C cable, because some cables only charge.
Does this test the adaptive triggers and haptics?
Not yet. Browsers report trigger pressure and basic rumble, but the adaptive trigger resistance and the fine haptic motors need extra access we are still building.
How much drift is normal on a DualSense?
A healthy stick rests within about 3% of centre. Most games use a dead zone of 5–10%, so a stick resting under that is fine in play.
